Van was extremely attentive and sincerely listened to my needs as I was moving from another state. I was not able to attend showings so Van arranged for my daughter to see the properties. During our time with Crye-Leike we worked with Van Thomas. We only had two days to look at properties and Van worked efficiently and diligently to get us into the preoperies we requested in our short time frame. Since that time Van worked hand in hand with us through our nightmare experience of lenders until finally after 9 weeks we finally closed on the house! We’re not even sure if we would be in this house today if it was not for how much work Van put in and everything he did! During the past couple years , with our best friends from vet school , we have had a working relationship with Mr. Van Thomas . He helped us purchase one piece of property to add value to another piece of lake view property we have owned since graduating in 1965 . The entire property was listed with Van , and since sold . He has been very helpful in helping us with recent road improvements . I have found him to be trustworthy and a friend in our experience with him as our real estate agent . Greetings ! We , my daughter , husband and I were fortunate enough to work with Van Thomas.... kind of through an interesting set of circumstances . My daughter , Sarah , was a walk in's at Crye-Leike and assigned to a different agent . Through the course of events , the day we were to look at properties , the other agent had an emergency and asked Van to pinch hit (fill in) in her absence . We jelled right away , and I believe part of this was Van reading our personalities . Our daughter new what she was looking for , and likes to move quickly . The first three properties were a no go for her , but number 4 hit the nail on the head - she made an offer that day . Ironically , my husband and I liked one of the homes Sarah dismissed , and we subsequently made an offer on it , so we had two properties going into escrow at the same time . Both my daughter and I are former real estate agents , so we can express that all real estate transactions will have some form of a hiccup , the key is how the agent representing you comes along side and responds to your inquiries - this is where Van excels ! Every text we sent (our choice to text) , or phone call , was answered typically within an hour , and if it was longer it was because he was with another client , but all communication was responded to the same day ! I (we) really appreciated this from Van ! My husband and I also had a challenge of living out of state , and we relied heavily on Van for the execution of timely details pertaining to our escrow . Concerning working with Van Thomas of Crye-Leike Realtors , I had the privilege of working with Van in 2016 when I was considering selling my home . I had received at least 3 hand written cards/letters from him , advertising his Real Estate business . In one he had offered a free market analysis of my home . I finally decided to call him as I didn't have a clue how much my property was worth . He came out and did the market analysis but I did not list the house right away . He never called back or pushed for for a listing so I called him back in 4 or 5 weeks and ask him to list . Our first looker was the buyer . From the beginning I felt very comfortable dealing with him . The way he photographed the house and property to the way he worded the ad and presented himself , it was all very professional . When we finally had the house appraised , it was almost exactly what his analysis was . He is very professional and said up front that he could represent both the buyer and seller . He went out of his way more than once to bring keys or make calls and even came by to check on my cat after I had moved . I would describe him as one of the most honest and personable of business men and of a very high integrity .

Van is trustworthy , which was super important to me since I live in California and the property we were selling was in Arkansas . From the beginning of marketing the property through the final sale and its paperwork , he was like having a friend on the task . It wasn't a big money making sell for him either ,yet he never made me feel like he wasn't interested . I appreciated his patient and teamwork attitude . I'm glad to be able to recommend him .
